Who I Am
I’m Mads, a performance psychology consultant and mental performance coach with a background in competitive sport and applied psychology. I work with athletes, creatives, and high-achievers who want to perform at a higher level without losing themselves in the process.
My path into this work wasn’t traditional. Years of coaching, competing, and working closely with people under pressure taught me that performance is rarely just about technique. It’s about identity, emotional regulation, self-trust, and the ability to stay grounded when things matter most.
Many of my early sessions on the court naturally became conversations about confidence, burnout, relationships, and direction. Over time, that work evolved into a focused practice centered on mental strength, clarity, and sustainable growth.
Today, I integrate evidence-based psychology, sport science, and real-life experience to help clients build resilience, sharpen focus, and develop a stronger internal foundation for both success and well-being.
My approach is direct, thoughtful, and grounded. I don’t believe in quick fixes or empty motivation. I believe in honest work, practical tools, and consistent effort. Whether you’re navigating a major transition, facing performance pressure, or simply wanting more from your life, my role is to support you in building clarity, confidence, and direction.
Above all, I value integrity, discretion, and respect for each client’s individual path. This work is personal, and I treat it that way.
How I Work
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
We look at the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and work together to identify patterns that keep you stuck. From there, we build tools to shift how you respond, relate, and move through life.
Parts Work - (IFS-Inspired)
I believe we all have different parts of ourselves, some protective, some wounded, some wise. I help you build a relationship with these parts, so you can feel more whole, less reactive, and more grounded in who you really are.
Present-Focused, Past-Aware
We stay rooted in what’s showing up for you now, whether it’s anxiety, relationship dynamics, or emotional burnout, while gently connecting the dots to your past, without getting stuck there.

What people say
-
“Working with Mads gave me space to be honest - not just about my career, but about everything I was avoiding underneath. His approach is grounded, sharp, and somehow still gentle. I don’t think I would’ve made the changes I did without him.”
— B.P, Filmmaker & Creative Director
-
“I came to Mads during a period of burnout where everything looked great on paper but felt hollow. I left with more clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually made sense for me. Our sessions were the highlight of my week.”
— J.S, Entrepreneur & Former Professional Athlete
-
“Mads has a way of seeing the real you, not the version you show the world, but the one that’s been stuck underneath. If you’re high-functioning but feel lost, he’s the guy you want in your corner.”
— J.W, Actor & Performer
